Fish get ill too

It’s never a good time when your fish get ill too in case they contaminate the water and could pass it on to the rest of your fish. However there are things to look out for so you can stop an ill fish and treat it in the correct way. A few things to look out for in first loss of appetite, any white spots or a ‘cotton wheel’ effect around the body. When you are changing the water, be sure to check the fish’s body for small worm like growths or if you see the fish scratching itself on a rock this is a sign of them.
